Barbra Nei is an interdisciplinary artist whose work incorporates photography, film, video and installation. She is an arts educator in Minneapolis MN and has exhibited her work regionally and internationally.  She has been the recipient of grants and fellowships from foundations and arts organizations including the Jerome , McKnight, and Bush Foundations, the NEA, the MN State Arts Board and Forecast Public Art . Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and is included in many private and corporate collections.

Barbra Nei is a fiscal year 2019 and 2026 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
